The primary focus of the paper is to explore the two worlds of a woman that is, life with parent and life with husband. Women on one side accept this supremacy by oppressing themselves to men, and on the other hand, women rebel against the patriarchy and voice out the male dominance. A woman's liberty to dream and to structure her life is pruned by the male power structures, which results in women's forced subordination. Male members, from elder to the youngest are given preference when compared to women members in a family. Patriarchy has been passed on in the family, from parents to children and the elderly male member in a family rules the whole kin group. Patriarchy is not inborn, instead it is inherited from the ancestors and it is subject to change. The term patriarchy denotes that men are dominant and women are subordinate to men. Male domination highlights the point that, men are born to work and women are born for doing household work and child bearing. This notion gave a root to male supremacy and women subjugation. Later, men worked hard and women took care of their family and household works. In the beginning of human civilization, men and women worked hard to cultivate their food.
